The Schriever Lions Club is a chartered member of the Lions
diverse membership.  The Schriever Lions Club membership has
no gender, racial, ability or geographic limits.

Because of our unique membership, we feel our club has the
opportunity to tap into the vast knowledge of our members
through their hands on experience of specific needs within our
community.  With this knowledge, the Schriever Lions Club will
be able to meet the every changing needs of our community,
Louisiana, and beyond.

Membership is by invitation only, and is open to persons of legal
majority who have demonstrated high moral character and a
commitment to community betterment.

Upon membership, the attendance of monthly meetings is not
required but recommended.  The important thing as a member is
to attend every meeting of the club as possible.  It is at the
meetings, after all, where the bonds of friendship are formed that
contribute so much to the ultimate success of the club.
Important business takes place as well, including votes on
projects and expenditures, approval of new members, planning
for future events, and reports from committees.

The Schriever Lions Club raises funds to assist individuals within
our community, to support the
Louisiana Lions Camp, and the
Louisiana Lions Eye
Foundation.
